Kate Williams – Practice Manager and Principal Physiotherapist
Kate has a vast amount of knowledge and physiotherapy skills and a great rapport with children with over 33 years experience working in Western Australia and Victoria.
Graduating from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy) degree in 1992 she has worked with children since then.
As the mother of three children she understands the demands upon families and can work within the time constraints that modern families now operate under.
Kate has worked across age groups right from early intervention, school aged to adult services for people with disabilities and for children with development delay. Kate has knowledge of the progression of a disability and therefore this helps makes goal setting reasonable and achievable. For many years she was a Senior Physiotherapist at both The Cerebral Palsy Association and Scope Victoria.
Kate loves working with children. As a teenager, it was her aim to work with children with disabilities, and it has become a lifelong passion. She has a real sense of fun that children enjoy and this helps them to become an active and willing partner in the treatment session. Kate loves equipment prescription, having spent many years working with children with complex disabilities.
In her spare time she enjoys time with family and her border collie Georgie!!
